Regular inspections and reporting on conditions of equipment, interpret deviations recorded and rectify.
Fault-finding and problem-solving on equipment.
Regular maintenance and repair of equipment.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities as per Plant Safety
Regulations, preventative maintenance plans and maintenance procedure.
Participate in improvement programmes and initiatives.
Maintain safe work environment, attend to equipment care and personal safety and identifying where quality and safety can be improved.
Comply with relevant legislative requirements and standards.
Ensure quality standards are maintained and customer requirements addressed.
Perform standby duties.
Participate in drawing up SOPs, Read and interpret drawings, attend meetings as required in the department, complete relevant documentation and reports.
Perform any other legitimate activity as required.
QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES:
Qualifications:
Grade 12 and a recognised Technical Qualification Minimum N4
Recognised Trade Test as a Fitter / Fitter Machinist / Fitter and Turner
Experience:
At least one Year Post
Qualification Competencies:
Maintenance of all Mechanical equipment, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Methodical, Analytical thinking, Attention to detail, Drive and energy.
Ability to build and maintain Stakeholder Relationship.
Customer focus and responsiveness.
Excellent Communication skills.
Computer literacy with SAP, Excel, Word and PowerPoint as an added advantage.
