Assisting the Group / ATT Finance Manager and Business Leadership in the preparation of reports and ad-hoc tasks / projects.
Build collaborative partnerships and maintain strong relationships with management and their teams across all functions including Sales, Operations, etc.
Review and implement improvements of business processes as part of continuous improvement to simplify, standardise and streamline processes.
Performing financial control activities to ensure data integrity.
Responsible for monthly stock summary report, reconciling stock and general ledger balances to stock valuation report.
Ensure from a finance perspective that all stock control processes are maintained, and company policies are adhered to.
Review authorised stock take variances.
Report on slow moving stock.
Analyse and authorise all stock returns for Credits.
Monthly reconciliation and reporting of Stock, goods in transit and related accounts.
Processing and review of monthly journals and accruals.
Compile and distribute daily sales reports.
Compile, analyse, comment and distribute weekly GP% exception reports.
Profitability analysis.
Carry out ad-hoc product specific GP% impact studies and investigations by Group/ Product/Customer/etc.
Assist with building the budget packs and distribution thereof.
Assist where required with consolidations of budget Information.
Loading and checking budgets on SAGE Evolution.
Compiling and distributing BI reports as per regions, branches and Head Office requests. Ad hoc assistance/tasks as required by the ATT Finance Manager.
Ensuring that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
Review and releasing of ad hoc and creditors payments
Providing expertise and advice to managers to help them develop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
Assist with presenting findings and recommendations to management; preparing financial analyst reports, profit and loss, balance sheets, and regulatory reports and filings.
Cash management.
Fixed- asset management.
Staff management.
Any other ad hoc activities or projects as required by the Group Finance and business.
QUALIFICATION
B.Com in Finance/ Accounting
EXPERIENCE
6-8 years’ experience in a Senior Cost and Management Accounting / FM role.
Stock management experience.
Experience of working within the Manufacturing, Sales and Retail Industry.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Sound financial knowledge and skills
Knowledge of SAGE Evolution or similar ERP
Knowledge of all applicable legislation (IFRS, Tax, Labour etc)
Excel (Advanced)
